Eva Longoria hits the red carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 25) in Los Angeles, she was looking so fit and fabulous.

Accompanied by her hubby Tony Parker for the evening, Eva and her “Desperate Housewives” castmates find themselves up for a SAG for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

According to the paparazzi on the scene, the 33-year-old star was heading to a medical building along with a stop at the spa.

She talked a lot about love and her relationship with new husband, basketball player Tony Parker.

On where she was during election night: “My best friend, Mario [Lopez], my girlfriends and I were watching at home. I campaigned for Barack Obama with Latinos in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. When they declared him the winner, I was overwhelmed with joy.”

On the relationship with her husband: “Tony [Parker]and I would love to be together forever. But the only way you get to forever is one day at a time.”

On who is the “flower” and who is the “gardener” in her marriage: “I’m the gardener. I definitely nurture. [My husband] is the flower. But there are times when Tony takes care of me—in an emotional sense, like, OK, let me take the reins on this one. But I love to take care of him. I’m really a very fifties housewife.”

On the appearance of recent weight gain for Desperate Housewives: “I’m wearing a fat suit! It’s suffocating. Unfortunately, we live our life in public, so any weight gain or pimple is a national story. I don’t get this obsessions with weight. It’s not only Hollywood; it’s our society.”

GLAMOUR: What advice do you give girlfriends who are looking for love?
Eva Longoria: I say, put the energy in the universe.

GLAMOUR: I never know what that actually means.
Eva Longoria: Be out there, date. Just get out there and meet people. I think sometimes women are stuck in a type. I’ve never dated the same type. I fall in love with personalities, and they come in different packages.

GLAMOUR: What are three qualities you look for in a man?
Eva Longoria: Intelligence, humor and passion.

GLAMOUR: Not looks?
Eva Longoria: No, no.

GLAMOUR: But your husband is handsome.
Eva Longoria: I lucked out! But I’ve never looked for that in a man.

GLAMOUR: I read once, “Love is the whole history of a woman’s life, but just an episode in a man’s.” Do you think that’s true?
Eva Longoria: I don’t know. I believe that men, when they fall, fall harder than women. Women gauge emotions a lot better because we’re more in touch with them, so we’ll give and take as much as we want.

GLAMOUR: Do you believe in a soulmate?
Eva Longoria: I believe in soulmates. It could be a lover, it could be a sister, it could be a best friend. It doesn’t have to be romantic.

The Desperate Housewife star, Eva Longoria had lunch at Cafe Med with her friends, one of which was wearing an Evan Longoria Rays T-shirt. The group left out the back of the Sunset Boulevard eatery before leaving in Eva’s car.

Eva Longoria Parker didn’t quite look like herself Tuesday night when she stepped out with a new, ’50s-style bouffant hairdo.

The actress also showed off an impressive cleavage at the event, thanks to a figure-hugging gold dress that provided plenty of uplift

In other news, Eva Longoria Parker said that she’s not Pregnant, she just fat.
The 33-year-old and husband Tony Parker “went crazy” over the summer, loading up on pasta and pizza, she told Entertainment Tonight.

But, that still wasn’t enough to give the pint-sized star more cushion for the pushin’.
